PITCH Scotland is presented by the country's new music champions the Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMA). PITCH has evolved from a successful pilot event and research project called HANG (Hip-Hop Aimed Networking with Grime) which took place in July 2021.
The PITCH three-day programme will includes international showcases, plus industry panels, speed meetings, open mic, DJ sets, movement, and dance. Throughout the year PITCH also present at key music industry events such as FOCUS Wales (UK), SXSW London (UK), New Skool Rules (Netherlands), SHIP (Croatia), Cranium Festival (Canada), Nuremberg Pop Fest (Germany) and Pro Weekend Fest (Spain).
PITCH Scotland is ran in partnership with Creative Scotland, and Glasgow Convention Bureau, and is produced by SAMA Events Ltd (Scottish Alternative Music Awards).
