Intibint (Scotland, UK)

Intibint is the moniker of Glasgow-based Yemeni artist Noha. Her music is primarily electronic imbibed with inspiration by Yemeni sounds and carried seamlessly by her powerful vocals. She uses sound to explore themes straddling both the personal and the collective, creating songs that express powerful messages as well as personal stories. Her latest tracks Sunflower and Ymn Alsa3eed are symbols of Intibint’s journey both personally and musically, showing the breadth of her production skills and innovative sound. This year, Intibint goes back to her roots, performing ‘mesmerising and angelic’ live sets of her original tracks as well as covers of traditional and revolutionary Arabic songs from Yemen, Palestine and Sudan.
