Aleena (UK)

Aleena is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter of Nigerian heritage, raised in the north of Scotland and living in Glasgow. Driven by a passion for music and storytelling, she started making music during the pandemic, learning how to turn musical ideas into reality. Last year, Aleena built momentum with four releases ahead of her debut EP with one single, ‘Middle Of May’, earning Track of the Week on Introducing Scotland. Her debut EP - RAW, is a four-track project exploring vulnerability and emotion, showcasing her most honest work yet. Known for emotionally raw songwriting and soft, soulful vocals, Aleena was a finalist in the Sound of Young Scotland award at the 2025 SAY Awards, and is a rising talent that you do not want to miss.
