Fred Gata (BE)

Fred Gata is a Rwandan-Belgian artist blending hip-hop and soul with raw energy, charisma, and deeply personal lyrics. After winning both the jury and audience awards at the 2023 Sound Track contest, he shared stages with artists such as Martha Da’ro, Hak Baker, and Antony Szmierek. Beyond performing, he supports emerging talent through community events and explores storytelling through photography and painting. Open about themes like addiction, trauma, and mental health, Fred uses his voice to create space for honesty and vulnerability. 

He is currently working on new music (debut album January 2027)  with several producers and musicians, shaping a versatile project that reflects his unique artistic world. In 2025 he played over 35 shows in Belgium. In 2026 we started working with Friendly Fire as booking partner in The Netherlands.
