Omar Jatta is a musician based in Germany with roots in Gambia and Senegal. Over the last six years, he has developed a unique sound that combines trap beats with traditional African rhythms, ranging from Afroswing to Afrotrap. His music is defined by "Message & Moves"—pairing a high-energy club sound with conscious lyrics that explore identity, heritage, and the social realities of the diaspora.

After performing at major festivals like Summerjam and Ruhr Reggae Summer in 2024, Omar returned to the Summerjam stage in 2025. His live shows are known for their dynamic energy, seamlessly blending heavy basslines with traditional percussion to keep the crowd moving while delivering a clear message.

In early 2025, Omar released his EP "Brennpunkt". The project, featuring the lead song "Schwarzer Mann", highlights his ability to address topics like racism and social class through a modern lens. Omar Jatta brings an honest, conscious perspective to the stage, merging a strong message with a sound that connects directly with the audience.
