Denise Amory-Reid (AmoryR Management)

Denise is an Artist Consultant and Creative Director with decades of experience in Hip-Hop culture, blending industry expertise, academic insight, and hands-on artist development.

Her musical roots trace back to Birmingham’s early Hip-Hop scene and her late father’s involvement in music as presenter, documentary maker and international music videographer. Influenced by legendary figures from both sides of the Atlantic, her perspective was further shaped by working in New York with Black and Hispanic young people in the late 80’s and early 90’s, at the dawn of Hip Hop...and she hasn’t looked back since!

As Co-Founder of AmoryR Management Ltd and creator of the AmoryRtist Development Programme, Denise champions holistic artist development, balancing creative growth and well-being. She manages rising star CreezOn, pioneer of 'Grip Hop,' alongside emerging artists Rere Demarae, Eazy Eagz, and Mykal Somer.

Her work is informed by academic research, safeguarding, the development of young people, and 23 years of Capoeira practice, with a deep understanding of Hip-Hop’s roots. Certified in Black Cooperative Economics from Washington DC's Centre for Conscious Communities, she applies strategic, community-focused approaches to artist management.

A member of the European Music Managers Alliance Hip-HopSteering Group and a graduate of the 2024 EMMpower mentorship programme, Denise actively shapes the future of artist management. She contributed archive footage to the BBC’s The First Ladies of Hip Hop and is developing a project showcasing Birmingham’s hip-hop history. Through platforms like The Fam’ly Experience, On Da Booth, The Theme Team, and the Big G Music Video Archive, she continues to innovate, educate, and uplift artists across generations.
