Martez Wiggans (African Nova Scotian Music Association)
Kxng Wooz is widely recognized for his sharp lyricism and ability to blend traditional hip-hop storytelling with modern sounds and diverse instrumentation. His music reflects both his personal journey and the evolving landscape of hip-hop, balancing authenticity with innovation.
Beyond the music, Wooz is deeply committed to community impact and nurturing the next generation of artists from his province. In 2014, he launched the R.A.W. Cypher Series, a platform that highlighted local talent and created space for artistic expression. A year later, he founded the United Not Isolated Festival (U.N.I), a celebration of urban culture through music and sports.
After years of producing and curating, Wooz shifted his focus to artist development, leading songwriting workshops and entrepreneurship initiatives within the arts and music sector. This passion for empowerment eventually guided him to his current role as Program Coordinator at the African Nova Scotian Music Association (ANSMA), where he designs programs that strengthen the skills and opportunities of artists and aspiring music industry professionals.
