Patch Twaddle (Antidote Artists)
With family roots in Glasgow, Patch Twaddle runs Antidote Artists, a Toronto-based artist management, label services and booking company. Previously a performer and arts organizer, Patch shifted fully into the business side in 2017, advising Imogen Heap's Mycelia for Music non-profit, becoming the Canadian rep for the Creative Passport initiatives, and working on solutions for music rights management with UK start-up JAAK. Since 2019, Antidote has served Canadian and international clients, including acclaimed indie chamber band Tiger Balme and its founding member Estyr, Afro-Caribbean hip-hop/soul artist Dynesti, one of Prince Edward Island's favourite singer-songwriters Noah Malcolm, and Welsh pop artist DONT MAKE THIS WEIRD. With an MBA specializing in Arts, Media & Entertainment, Patch has also been a course director in entertainment and media management at the Schulich School of Business, York University, since 2020.
