Ailsa Harper (The Bothy Society)

Ailsa Harper is the founder of Brightest Light, a freelance music consultancy company that guides and empowers artists and creative teams through digital strategy, artist support, and consulting. She also works at The Bothy Society, supporting the organisation's day-to-day operations with its diverse roster of artists across management, label, publishing and live. 

Since 2021, she has worked as a mentor with Help Musicians as part of their Business Advice Mentoring Network, working one-to-one with emerging music creators to offer practical industry insight, encouragement, and tailored support as they navigate key career decisions and professional development. Alongside her industry experience, Ailsa has completed the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills, strengthening her person-centred approach and enabling her to better support the wellbeing of artists and creatives while recognising the importance of healthy, sustainable careers.

With over a decade of experience spanning artist management, campaigns, marketing, operations, mentoring, and events, Ailsa helps music professionals cut through the noise, show up authentically online, and build sustainable careers in the evolving digital landscape.
