Ben Wynter (Unstoppable Music Group)

Ben Wynter is a pioneering music executive, investor, and cultural strategist working at the intersection of creativity, capital, and systemic change. With over two decades of experience across the independent and major music sectors, he has built a reputation for identifying high-growth talent, shaping industry-defining initiatives, and unlocking opportunity for underrepresented founders and creators.

As Founder of Unstoppable, Ben has worked with globally recognised, award-winning talent consulting on chart-topping projects and managing Grammy Award-winning artists while building platforms that bridge culture and investment. His work increasingly focuses on how creative entrepreneurs can become investable, and how capital can better flow into overlooked but high-potential markets.

Ben previously served as Director of Business Development & Partnerships at the Association of Independent Music (AIM), where he expanded the organisation’s national and regional footprint, strengthened strategic partnerships, and led initiatives supporting the UK’s independent music economy. As Co-Chair of IMPALA’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Task Force, he shaped pan-European policy and helped redefine how equity and representation are embedded at an industry level. During this time, he also developed a strategic partnership with EY to democratise access to world-class business insight, while establishing a music-focused investment syndicate that secured over £1 million in investor commitments.

At PRS Foundation, the UK’s leading charitable funder of new music, Ben managed seven-figure funding programmes and played a key role in evolving its investment strategy ensuring capital reached a broader and more diverse pool of creators. His work helped accelerate the careers of artists and entrepreneurs who have gone on to achieve both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Ben is the Founder of POWER UP, a flagship initiative tackling anti-Black racism and racial disparity in the UK music industry. Its impact is clear: supported artists and professionals have gone on to achieve recognition across the MOBO Awards, BRIT Awards, Mercury Prize, Jazz Awards, and a Grammy nomination, while industry participants have progressed into senior leadership roles and received major accolades across Music Week and beyond. POWER UP has been recognised with the Music Week Women in Music EDI Award and the IMPALA Changemaker Award.

Operating at the intersection of industry, policy, and investment, Ben sits on the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Creator Remuneration Group and Streaming Reform Committee, helping shape the future of creator economics. He also serves on the International Advisory Board to the Vice Mayor of Rotterdam, advising on cultural and creative economy strategy, and is a Trustee of The Diana Award; established in memory of Princess Diana supporting the next generation of talent and leaders.

Ben is currently building Unstoppable Ventures, a venture platform focused on backing high-growth founders overlooked by traditional venture capital. His approach combines cultural insight with investment discipline, creating a de-risked pipeline of opportunity that delivers both financial returns and systemic impact.

A sought-after speaker, Ben brings a rare combination of frontline industry experience, investment insight, and cultural perspective offering powerful narratives on equity, innovation, and the future of the creative economy.
