Jo Ricketts (Nxgen MG)
Joseph Ricketts (Joe): is a Northern Irish - Jamaican music industry professional, artist/talent manager and music mentor. He is the founder and director of Nxgen MG, a music platform providing levelling-up opportunities and guidance for emerging artists and music creators especially from underserved communities. He is Belfast's partner in PRSF Power-Up and the UK-wide Ed Sheeran Foundation music education programme through Sound Connection UK.
Joe has been instrumental in the success and careers of global breakthrough talent, 2025 Grammy nominee Jordan Adetunji (US 300 Ent, Warner Music ), as well as rising stars Tanaka VII (Empire Records), RnB Alt-pop singer Winnie Ama, emerging rappers Leo Miyagee and Hyfin Eire (Netflix).
Joe plays a key leadship role championing music across Belfast City & wider Northern Ireland on Belfast City's UNESCO Music Board.
