Chris Blackmore (Eden Festival)
Chris Blackmore is a Glasgow-based music professional with over 13 years' experience spanning artist management, festival programming, live promotion and digital music distribution.
He manages artists through Jumping The Shark MGMT, leading release campaigns, live strategy and long-term career development for acts including Alice Faye. Alongside this, he programmes festivals and events as both a freelance programmer and Programmer at Eden Festival, curating diverse line-ups of emerging and international artists.
Chris is also the founder of Holy Smokes Records, an independent label and promotions company that has presented hundreds of live shows across Scotland. In his role at EmuBands, he works in Artist Relations, supporting independent artists and labels around the world with their release strategies and digital distribution.
Drawing on experience as a manager, promoter, programmer and artist advocate, Chris brings a practical perspective on how independent artists can build relationships, navigate the live industry and create sustainable opportunities for touring and performance.
