Josh Daniel

Josh Daniel is a music executive and business leader working across record labels, artist development and commercial strategy.

He is Co-Founder and Head of Interval Records, a joint venture label between Generator and EMI North (Universal Music UK), established to create major-label pathways for artists developing outside London. Alongside this, he serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Generator, leading commercial strategy, partnerships and organisational growth.

Josh began his career as an artist, songwriter and entrepreneur before transitioning into executive leadership within the music industry, giving him a first-hand creative and commercial perspective. Recognised by the Black Cultural Archives as a “40 Under 40 Future Black Leader”, he is also a Board Member of the BPI’s Equity and Justice Advisory Group.
